AUGUST 2018
I learned earlier this month that I have been accepted into the MA in Art Therapy Counseling at
Lewis & Clark College. To say I am thrilled is an understatement!
Therefore, beginning September 1, I will have Thursday evenings after 5:30 p.m. and all day Saturday after 7:00 a.m. available for providing art lessons. I am making adjustments to the website to include the classes I offer, costs and items included for students. There is also a Recommendations tab being updated to include books and events of interest to anyone interested.
More information will be available very soon for scheduling, general questions and accommodations.
Also on the agenda for August is my regular spot on Mic Check with Mike Shaw on Tucon's KVOI 1030 AM
where we talk about stuff. I will be on Friday, August 17 from 5-6pm, Pacific Time. I can almost bet that I'll have something to say about Arizona's upcoming Senate race, how everyday is Opposite Day for Education Suckretary Betsy DeVos, and the winner of this week's soda wars.

JULY 2018
The Expression-m studio has moved to Activspace located at 1720 NW Lovejoy St. It's still within walking distance to the great shops, cafes, and restaurants on NW 23rd, but this gives me the opportunity to be housed in an artist's community with 24/7 access.
Now that the studio is together, there are opportunities for private art lessons for ages 10 and up. For now, I can schedule on Tues. & Thurs. after 6pm with one or two hour lesson blocks for learning to draw or paint. Saturday appointments are also available after 4pm in the same time blocks. Be sure to tune into KVOI 1030 AM, Tucson's 'The Voice' at 4:00 PM MST to catch Mic Check with Mike Shaw. Mike has kindly extended a guest slot for me to appear on the show one Friday per month from 5:00 - 6:00 pm PST. The next time to tune in is Friday, May 18, 2018. We discuss art, politics, education, soda wars and all sorts of stuff.
April and May are very busy months for me as the school year is winding down and state tests begin, multiple student trips take place and lots to take care of before settling into a very busy summer. I will keep you informed of what is taking place as Expression-M is slowly but surely expanding during the early part of summer!

2/2/2018 - Two paintings have been added to the site: "A Time For Reflection" is in the section for Illuminations, and It's Safe to Come Out at Dusk has been added to the More Paintings section of the portfolio.
